    historic ambiance

    water inconsistency

Charming historic ambiance, inviting outdoor seating areas, unique room interior designs

Lack of showers in rooms really detracts from comfort!!! Inconsistent water temperatures made my experience quite uncomfortable and the dated room decor feels like a trip back in time that's not appreciated anymore!!!

    ample breakfast
    comfortable sleigh bed
    sloping floor

great atmosphere but needs minor tweaks

The breakfast offered was excellent and generous, providing a wide variety of options. I found the spacious bedroom with the comfortable sleigh bed quite inviting, ensuring a restful night.

The sloping floor in the room, while atmospheric, may not be for everyone.

    buffet breakfast

Couples looking for a quiet getaway

The staff were friendly and really welcoming, made us feel at home right away. Breakfast was pretty good too, with a nice buffet spread that my partner really enjoyed.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for, I guess.

    cozy room
    lovely breakfast
    garden area
    noise disturbance

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the cozy vibe of the Small Double Room and the lovely breakfast spread. The garden area was a peaceful retreat, and I made the most of relaxing in the sun terrace. The only hiccup was the noise from neighboring rooms, but it didn’t dampen my overall great experience—just bring earplugs! 🌼

    charming building
    comfortable bed
    outdated bathroom
    tired decor
    lack of extractor fan

The character of the building adds a charming appeal, despite some areas needing a refresh. The room was comfortable with a firm bed and quality linens, but the bathroom appeared outdated. The staff were notably friendly, and both breakfast and dinner showcased excellent food and service. the lack of an extractor fan in the bathroom and the overall tired feel of the decor detracted from the experience.

    delicious breakfast
    outdoor seating
    friendly atmosphere
    dated bathroom
    noisy flush toilet

My stay was delightful, primarily because of the exceptionally warm atmosphere and the beautiful outdoor seating area. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast that featured a variety of freshly cooked items. The staff was attentive, making it feel like a home away from home. the bathroom fixtures were somewhat dated, which detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.

    delicious food

Couples looking for a quaint getaway

I had a great time enjoying the lovely food at dinner, the roast lamb was honestly the best I’ve ever had. The staff were super friendly, they even brought us complimentary wine just because we mentioned it was our anniversary, you don’t get that kind of treatment everywhere.

It wasn’t budget-friendly but still reasonable for what you get.

The atmosphere here is gorgeous, especially with the cozy outdoor seating and the heated swimming pool in a secluded area. Plus, there's a lovely bar with open fires to relax by. I also had the best scrambled eggs ever for breakfast!
